Matt brings to the table over 15 years of coaching along with strong real estate experience. He is always willing to go above and beyond the “norm” to help you reach your goals and specializes in residential properties. Based in Lexington, SC, Matt serves the Lexington, Richland and parts of Sumter, Kershaw, Aiken and Newberry county areas for The Shumpert Group. 

  

Growing up in Lexington, SC, Matt had a love of baseball since a very early age. He loved dragging his non-athletic grandmother into the back yard to throw the ball to him. His passion for the game continued through high school and college. To this day, Matt continues to pour his respect, patience and knowledge into his team members. He also maintains balance as he is a hands-on husband and father of four who is very involved in the lives of his family and community. 

  

Matt's journey in real estate began in 2018, right after obtaining his South Carolina real estate license. Using all the skills he learned playing and coaching, Matt knows the value of bringing his best to the plate. He understands that each customer is different and he follows through accordingly creating a journey to a new home as unique as the buyer themselves.
